Meet Scoot Teasley

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Scoot Teasley.

Hi Scoot, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up in the church, where my love for music started. I started playing drums at an early age, and being in church helped develop that.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I’ve had struggles, like everyone else. Nothing comes easy in this world. I lost my great-uncle last year. He was a big part of my musical journey.

He sang at church, and from an early age, I always remember going to church and watching him sing. He was one of my biggest supporters. But I now get to carry his legacy and honor him whenever and wherever I can.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a singer/songwriter.

I’m passionate about crafting songs that connect with people on a personal level. I take pride in authentically sharing my experiences through my music, striving to create a sound that resonates with others who share similar feelings and perspectives.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
As many people do, I love the live music scene in Nashville.

It truly is a musician’s dream to be here. Everywhere you go, there’s live music, and that’s just something that you can’t get in my hometown. One thing I do not like is the potholes haha.
