Meet The Tidy Home Nashville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Meg DeLong and Ea Fuqua, the co-owners and sisters behind The Tidy Home Nashville.

Hi Ea, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My sister and I started The Tidy Home Nashville in April of 2019! We have always wanted to start a business together. We were both at the point of making a career change and decided to jump all in! We started by working for close friends and family and asked them to help spread the word about our new business. We have also been very committed to our social media because it is such a great form of advertisement for us.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
We have definitely hit a few struggles in the two and a half years we have been in business, mostly COVID-related. The pandemic hit less than one year after our opening. We had to make so many changes to ensure we could still go into homes after taking a little bit of time off right at the start of shutdowns.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
We are a professional organizing and styling company! We go into homes and businesses to create systems that work for the entire family or work for the individual. We strive to marry function and beauty in every single one of our projects!

Any big plans?
We look forward to continuing to grow! We love our city and we love helping people feel at peace within their spaces. We plan on expanding our design services further in the future by offering custom-designed closets, pantries, etc!
