Meet Tyler Mose of Chicago

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyler Mose.

Hi Tyler, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I got my start in video production working for ESPN on game day coverage while an undergrad at Purdue University. One of our assistant coaches had a relationship with an ESPN Field Producer, and we got to operate game day operations for home football games. From there, I worked for Careerbuilder.com. We did recruitment branding and advertising geared towards companies’ recruitment brands and employee recruitment. Our company has seven total people, and we have locations in both Chicago and Indianapolis. In 2010 I went into corporate video production full-time and had been in it ever since.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
We’ve had issues, but we haven’t quit and continued building. It has been a mixture of both high highs and low lows. In business, some days are glorious beyond belief, while others make you want to crawl into bed and sleep for 8 to 10 hours. You have to if you want to succeed. The path is far from linear. You win some; you lose some, and you keep moving onward.

Matchpoint is a corporate video production agency that produces video, illustration, and animation content for various organizations. We create video content on websites, social media, ad platforms, email marketing, and other selected areas. The content we develop is used for sales, marketing, advertising, branding, recruiting, training, and digital signage.

Have you learned any exciting or essential lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
We’ve learned to insulate ourselves with clientele that weather storms better than others.
