Silk Skin Studio Story
My name is Yelismar Escalona. I was born in Valencia, Venezuela, and in 2017 I emigrated to the United States with a heart full of dreams and goals, three children by my side as a single mother, no English, little money, and no family in Nashville. Adapting to a completely new culture was one of the most difficult challenges of my life. I worked in different jobs such as cleaning and construction while studying what I was passionate about. I always had a clear love and passion for aesthetics, care, and wellness.
In Nashville, I earned my state esthetics license and completed multiple private advanced trainings and certifications to perfect my techniques. In 2020, with determination, faith, and passion, I founded Silk Skin Studio, born from my love for beauty, health, and emotional well-being.
What began as a dream became a beautiful reality—a place where we not only transform bodies but also help people regain confidence, self-esteem, and self-love. Every smile, every client who leaves feeling happier and more secure, became my biggest motivation.
Over time, Silk Skin Studio gained trust, visibility, and a loyal clientele. My deep commitment to results led me to create my own exclusive method:

One of my greatest achievements was the opening of our second location in Clarksville, Tennessee, in 2025—a dream that once seemed impossible, but I accomplished it with the incredible support of my wonderful team.
Today, I don’t just transform bodies—I help people fall in love with themselves again. I believe beauty is a form of healing, and that wellness is deeply connected to emotional freedom.
As an immigrant single mother, I am proud to be an example that passion, discipline, and faith can build empires from scratch. Every day I continue learning, growing, and serving thousands of women and men who seek to feel better and restore their self-esteem.
My mission is to continue expanding Silk Skin Studio, elevate my Deep Lymphatic Drainage Method to the highest level, open more locations, and inspire more women to believe they have the power to create the life they dream of.
