We recently had the chance to connect with Nick Bosse and have shared our conversation below.
Nick, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
The thing I am most proud of building is the relationship I have with my children. I am a father first before everything and my kids are my number one focus above all else!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Nick Bosse and I’m a Country Singer/Songwriter from New England! I am a Nashville Recording Artist, a Father, Husband, and I work a day job while pursuing this dream of being a full time musician. I have two EPs, multiple singles and one LP currently available on all music streaming platforms with plans to release several new singles before the end of 2025. I am a proud Swamp Yankee with roots dug deep in the north, and my mission is to prove that Country music can be made anywhere and not just the south. Country music and country living has been my life and I write songs that reflect who I am.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
My grandfather (who I call Pepe) has been the greatest influence of hard work in my life. He was a truck driver for most of his life, but worked hard at every other thing he tried as well. He is also the number one person in my family responsible for me being a country musician. He raised me on Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Gene Autry, Hank Williams, Eddy Arnold and so many more.
When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
Johnny Cash’s story telling always had a way of comforting me when I was sad or scared as a kid. I used to immerse myself in his songs for hours and it always changed my mood.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My family is what matters most to me. Loving and raising my children to be confident and intelligent humans has been my focus for a long time now.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace in the outdoors. When I am out in the woods or on the water, it helps me reset myself and feel like I can take a moment to enjoy life.
