Today we’d like to introduce you to Anastasia Barrett.
Anastasia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was born in Memphis, TN raised in Jackson, TN as well as Paducah, KY. I have three siblings all brothers. Growing up I always had hard-working parents.
Which made me the hardworking woman I am today. I married the love of my life in 2021, and I also have a handsome, intelligent son whom I love very much. I currently reside in Murfreesboro, TN. Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for fashion it was always an opportunity for me to step out and put my mark on the world. In 2017, I started a boutique to bring unique fashions to women.
Around the same time, I started a women’s group called Women with Ambition creating a safe space for women to support, build and encourage one another on their business journey. In 2018, I went through something very traumatic, feeling defeated, & powerless. It was at that moment God revealed to me he wanted me to create a platform for women in need of encouragement, support, and reassurance; reminding them that it’s ok to walk in who you truly are barring no circumstance.
Which later evolved into the organization “She’s Unapologetic”. I have since then parted ways from the boutique in pursuit of aligning myself with God’s plan. My team and I are in the process of rebranding as well as becoming more active in the women’s community. There is so much in store for She’s Unapologetic stay tuned.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A challenge for me was learning and fully understanding who I truly was.
It was until I began to build my relationship with God that I learned my strength was in my story. Learning to truly love myself, despite the opinions of others, fighting through insecurities meant to break me.

I’ve been in the insurance field since 2012. Licensed in numerous states. Within my career, I’ve earned numerous promotions and built a vast amount of professional relationships along the way.
However, I specialize in empowerment and I’m known for being a light and encouraging woman. I started my YouTube channel “Anastasia Barrett” to share my passions in hopes of inspiring & motivating women along the way.
I am proud of my dedication and determination to always see things through even in those moments where I fall short. I chose to hold my head high and embrace all of the lessons along the way.
What sets me apart from others is the willingness to go the extra mile, self-confidence, and uniqueness in all that I do. I take pride in showing up every day and giving MY 100%.
I believe that God planted individual assignments over our lives and once we tap into those assignments we begin to flourish in a way that was ordained by him and cannot be stopped.
