Today we’d like to introduce you to Bb Anne

Hi bb, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?

Southern Ontario rooted, my love for music & singing turned into a passion after rediscovering an old family guitar once forgotten.

Self taught playing guitar now for just over 2 years… I have been writing music for about a 1.5 yrs now. Once I performed my first song in front of a crowd… I remember someone asking me “whose cover was it?, I love this song” and I said it was my song I wrote… which then in turn gave me the spark to continue this path 🙂
I have fallen in love with being able to write and sing my own music… & have no intentions on ever stopping 🙂

Drawing influences from various genres my musical style knows no boundaries. My songs act as a vessel for what I calls my “emotional journal” allowing me to channel raw feelings and personal experiences.

I believes that through honest lyrics and evocative melodies, we can forge a profound connection that transcends language and touches the hearts of listeners everywhere.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s hard work, but everything I have gone through I believe has brought me to where I am today.
I work full time, & have three young children (all boys) so to balance work, family & passion… it’d a full time never stopping kinda of scenario…

I have been lucky / fortunate to meet some amazing musicians along the way who have been very inclusive.
A few hiccups along the way with some friends / friends of friends & other musicians giving me a hard time because I am so new to the industry….. Which these negative feelings turned into one of my favourite songs I’ve written.

I have been the GM @ a local Craft Beer Restaurant back in Souther On. Canada.
I have been with them for 16 years, and just love the mom & pop style of place we run here 🙂

I work a day job now, MON – FRI which allows me now to focus and spend time on my passion as a singer songwriter 🙂 & keep up with my life as a mom of 3 little boys.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
MUSIC – no matter what part of my day I’m in, or how good or bad it can go – I can always look for a song to help me through anything.
MY KIDS – they just adore the music & we’ve had so much fun creating music together at home. they give me the passion to keep going. When your kids are your biggest fans… it really means so much 🙂
LOVE – I find love in everyday. whether it be from my kids, family friends or my love. showing love to someone every day will bring happiness to you always 🙂
