Rising Stars: Meet Brianna Brown

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Brown.

Brianna Brown

Hi Brianna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I’m from Pulaski, a very small town in Pulaski, TN. I noticed from a young girl that making memories meant a lot to me. It wouldn’t bother me one bit to look at a photo album all day long or take pictures of everyone at all the functions. There’s something about all the different emotions a picture can capture that makes me eager to produce them.

In my younger days, when I had the chance to get behind a lens, I always would, but I never had one of my own. I did not begin to take photography seriously until I met someone very close to me. He brought back the fun and I had for telling me to “say cheese”. Haha. Since the reintroduction, I’ve been blessed to take photos in several settings, including fashion, collegiate, nightlife, family, brand promotion, etc.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been a little rocky.

Photography isn’t something I had dreamed about doing. It is something that I love doing, and I could see myself doing it for the rest of my life. While diving into this passion, I have to stay in reality. Currently, I am a full-time college student at Middle Tennessee State University, and I work two other positions. So, it can be hard to fit photography into my schedule sometimes.

Figuring out the industry has also been engaging, but not a challenge. Learning just how different everyone is and the tools used to create such beautiful art. It’s a great thing to be apart of making the world look so good.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As I finish my bachelor’s in marketing and business administration, I’m an outreach coordinator for a podcast production company, Titan Media Worx. I love this position because it allows me to be flexible in time while being a student. The people I work with also make it 100 times better. I am the person responsible for searching for our guests, booking them, and making sure they have all the necessary information regarding the podcast they’re appearing on.

I am proud of my academic journey as a first-generation college graduate. I started with my associates at Columbia State Community College and have continued at MTSU. During my tenure at Cstate, I was a lady charger for the women’s basketball team. I won several academic awards and graduated with honors. I hope to continue this when I graduate from MTSU in December 2024.

So, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you before we go? How can they support you?
