Rising Stars: Meet Danial Shafie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danial Shafie. 

Hi Danial, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Well, I do a lot of jobs. I studied Architecture and I work as an architect mostly. I taught myself how to teach English for second language learners, such as kids and older people. I play my guitar near a campfire or near a beach. Nothing special but I love the country vibes. Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson are what I mostly play. 

Nowadays I’m planning to move to USA forever. Let’s see what God wants. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. My life has two waves: before and after COVID-19. I lost many friends and family. Especially it costs me a lover. But here I am. Working to have a better future in my country Iran. Which is very difficult. 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
As I told you before I’m a part-time architect and a part-time teacher. I’m actually very talkative and very helpful around my friends and family. I’m a supporter mainly. I’m known for my special style of talking and dressing in my town. I dress as a cowboy. And I taught myself how to cowboy and work with cattle. I’m proud of my choices. The people I know and the things I teach people are very special and important for me. 

What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Always have my faith in God. And never trust an ex-friend to come back.
