Rising Stars: Meet Herron Westbrooks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Herron Westbrooks.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I had a passion for interior decorating since I was a teenager.

I spent years learning through magazines and decorating during the holidays to add experience to my interest. During the pandemic, the world stopped, and I was no longer able to decorate as usual and started candle-making.

It was originally a stress relief and hobby during the pandemic, but when others quickly gained the notice of my work, I began researching, developing, and launching my own home collection, Décor By Herron, creating a sense of nostalgia and home people could take on the go.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The most challenging part of creating our brand was making sure our product’s performance lived to the vision we aspired.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Décor by Herron specializes in interior decorating and styling your home with fragrance from our luxury soy wax candle line. We are proud of being a median between work-life balance and giving our customers a luxury experience in self-care and relaxation.

Décor by Herron is a lifestyle brand that merges all of our favorites from interior decorating, event planning, creating, and crafting.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
One of the most important characteristics that have played a part in our success is drive. We love seeing our brand accomplish the goals we set and doing what we love with purpose.
