Hi Jeri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was living in a townhouse in desperate need of more space for my daughter. I was tired of renting and wanted to buy my first home.
If I’m being honest, I almost gave up.
Two different mortgage lenders told me I didn’t qualify for much because of my student loans. I remember feeling embarrassed, defeated, and questioning if homeownership was even possible for me.
But I tried one more time. A third lender approved me for enough, and I ended up buying what I thought would be my forever home.
Eventually, I turned it into a rental property instead. Fast forward — I’ve now purchased four homes, and I’m actively using real estate to build generational wealth.
That’s why I’m a Realtor living in my purpose.
I know what it feels like to have a limited mindset and not get proper guidance…
I also know how powerful it is when someone goes above and beyond to help you when you’ve already given up on your real estate goals.
I started a real estate team, Tennessee Home Experts, and we help families build generational wealth in real estate using our Proven method.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road.
Entrepreneurship is rewarding, but it’s also nonstop.
There’s no clocking out. You’re constantly learning, adjusting, and pouring into your business even when no one is watching.
There were seasons where I felt overwhelmed, questioning if I was doing enough or moving fast enough.
Balancing business, life, family, rest, and relationships has been a challenge.
But every struggle taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of staying grounded in my purpose even when things don’t move on my timeline.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Realtor who specializes in serving families, military families, and first-time homebuyers to build generational wealth in real estate. I’m known for my Proven Method.
I’ve developed a 5-step process (Proven Method) that simplifies buying and selling real estate, making it clear, efficient, and confidence-building instead of overwhelming.
My clients trust me because I communicate proactively, anticipate issues before they happen, and treat their goals like my own.
What I’m most proud of is helping people secure their first home, relocate with ease, or build long-term wealth.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I see even more people moving toward homeownership.
Not just for a place to live, but as a strategy for financial security.
Rent continues to rise every year, and in many cases, the quality and value don’t match the increase.
People are waking up to the reality that if you don’t own assets or have investments working for you, retirement becomes much harder.
I also see a major shift in mindset.
Especially among younger generations.
It’s less about “buying a forever home” and more about buying an income-producing or wealth-building property.
Real estate will continue to be one of the most accessible paths to ownership, passive income, and financial freedom.
