Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenadi Sherril.
Hi Kenadi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am Kenadi Sherril, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Murfreesboro, TN, Born and raised. I have been obsessed with the media industry ever since I was 12 years old and put out my first youtube video. I loved creating content and entertainment as well as just being myself. I say this because it influenced my decision to major in Communications Media with a concentration in Production at my Illustrious university, Alabama A&M, where I just recently graduated from on May 9th.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been some bumps in the road getting to this point especially now trying to find a job after college. I’ve have learned to accept the hiccups and take them in as learning experiences. To not let them define who I am but to grow from it and be a better person overall.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work is my prized possession. I kid you not I have made over 20+ videos in my life and have learned alot. My creative style is to be me. Last year, I started my content page @kenwiththekam where I create lifestyle, cooking, and Christian content. I edit, record and share all of my content. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my videos and it’s inspired me to take it up a notch and create another fresh youtube channel called “Hey, It’s Kenadi” where the videos are going to be longer than my average reels I post. I’m very proud of where I am currently and I love to just be unapologetically me.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see myself being a bigger content creator as well as work for larger network in the media industry in 5-10 years. Brand deals, networking and meeting people who love the game just as much as I do.
