Today we’d like to introduce you to Lily Coutu.
Hi Lily, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started Lily M. Coutu Creative Designs after I finished a contract position with a local photographer as her social media manager and assistant. I enjoyed being able to use my creative side to produce one-of-a-kind content for her social media platforms. It also allowed me to realize that I have a true passion for helping people develop their businesses into what they have always wanted and dreamt of them being.
Lily M. Coutu Creative Designs was a way for me to take a break from my job in healthcare especially when dealing with all that came over the past couple of years. I decided to take the big jump and start my own business to be able to keep my dream of being able to work in social media, content creation, and graphic design, while also being able to use it to help people evolve their businesses or personal ventures into something greater than they could have ever imagined.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road, but it has always been educational and eye-opening. I have learned a lot about owning and running my own business, along with learning how brands differ based on the services that are offered.
It was difficult to learn how to switch gears when working on one brand and then switching to another because they have all been so different. It was also fun to learn more about how to manage all of the different brands I have worked with due to all the content I create is personalized to each company down to the color palettes that I use when creating content.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer, Etsy Shop Owner, and Creative Designer.
There are many more things that I offer through Lily M. Coutu Creative Designs, but that is the general overview that covers most of the services that I offer.
I am most proud that I have been lucky enough to have such amazing clients that I can develop a personal professional relationship with so that way their goals for their business/brand become my goals for their business/brand.
What do you think about luck?
I don’t believe that luck has had much of a role in my life or my business as I have always been active in building my business to be better than it was the day before and trying to seek out new client opportunities through networking.
