Today we’d like to introduce you to Liv Barone.
Hi Liv, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
The three of us have been friends since we were born and have always loved to eat! Since we’re three Italian girls who are always either eating out or making food, we decided we would showcase our photos into a blog. We started it for fun but then began getting more followers and we haven’t turned back since!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t necessarily been a “smooth” road but has been a learning experience for all of us. We realized how much work it takes to continue getting a following and the constant effort that needs to be put in each and every day to keep our followers happy!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in making connections with other people. I saw the pandemic as an opportunity to help the businesses in the restaurant industry, specifically in West Chester, where I went to college. During this time I made several different monthly partnerships with restaurants in town that I am still connected with today. I also network whenever I get the chance because restaurants love the enthusiasm and energy that we bring with us everywhere we go. I just love helping people. I think that’s my favorite part.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk-taking?
I have taken risks by reaching out to 5-star restaurants within the fine-dining industry who work with influencers who have millions of followers. However, no matter who I put myself out there to, they always appreciated us reaching out and genuinely got excited for us to come in!
