Hi Michael Jay, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
WELCOME MICHAEL JAY CRESSWELL TO THE BIG TILT FAMILY!

Music took Michael Jay Cresswell around the world!! Michael is a songwriter with over 100 songs in his lifetime, has lived, recorded and performed in London, Nashville, Los Angeles, Le Mans and Cambodia and toured with the Nashville All Stars. He is also known as one of Europe’s best DJs, having spent many years working in Kavos and Ibiza as well as being one of the UK’s most successful country artists and being commissioned by the French city of Le Mans to write the city’s official anthem, entitled “Allez Le Mans”. He has also collaborated with multi platinum producer Duane Scott (Leon Russell, ELO, Stevie Nicks, Lindsay Buckingham, Rick Springfield) and was managed by Greg Lewerke (Bruce Springsteen manager, Boston, Aerosmith and tour manager of the Stone Roses from the UK, and still today manager of magician David Copperfield)

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Always having to find my own contacts and luck in this industry has been very challenging, but it has kept things real and a real sweet taste when it all comes together

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Working for 10 years on the island of Corfu and Ibiza as a club DJ.
Worked in Nashville with producer/ engineer Duane Scott, who worked with ELO, Stevie Knicks, Leon Russell.
Was managed by Greg lewerke for 18 months until illness took Greg out of the picture, he managed Bruce Springsteen, aerosmith, Boston with his father jack from vault records, owned with Sharon Osborne’s father.
Michael was commissioned to write the city of le mans France anthem for the football club, and the le mans 24 hours rally, a city where he lives.
Recently signed to Tilt music in Italy, brings a new chapter

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Much love from a fantastic mother and father, brought up in an Irish catholic family, brought lots of singing and entertainment from an early age.
