Rising Stars: Meet Milas Huddleston

Today we’d like to introduce you to Milas Huddleston.

Hi Milas, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Well, I’d like to consider myself a young mogul. I’m a man that wears many hats, but my first passion and love is music. It’s what I was born to do. I started seriously pursuing music right after high school but had picked up on it early. Outside of music, I have a clothing line and podcasts that will be my next venture. Before this, I worked for one year at the only historical black-owned radio, WVOL. (Oprah Winfrey) started her young career in the very same building. Outside of that, for the last decade, I’ve dedicated my free to the local school, helping students become better readers. This is my life. My journey. My story.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all; I was a late bloomer. I’m very grateful for it, though. It helped me become the man I am today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Fashion designer/ podcast, I’m most proud of being a father
what sets me apart from others is my drive and ambition.
