Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Deeb.
Hi Rachel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Over the last 10 years in Nashville I have developed close relationships with those in the music industry. It has been fun growing along side my peers while looking up to those who have shaped the industry before us. I have worked hard to develop trusting friendships with clients and creatives. I like to describe ELEKTRIK Haus as a music industry “matchmaker” – designed to connect the music industry with top-tier visual artists. I am excited to continue the growth of ELEKTRIK in this community.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
There are and will always be struggles when it comes to reaching your goals. One of my mains struggles is prioritizing your mental health and recognizing saying no is just as powerful as saying yes. If we don’t make time and take care of ourselves, we can’t take care of our clients.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Along side of being a Creative Director, tour photographer and artist, I recently launched a creative agency, ELEKTRIK Haus. EH bridges the gap between musicians, managers and industry professionals and the photographers, videographers, designers and artists who can bring their creative visions to life.
I have grown in the music industry for 10 years working with artists such as Maren Morris, Carly Pearce, Walker Hayes, Ashley Cooke, Miranda Lambert, The Lumineers and more. Beyond photography and videography, I also own ELEKTRIK Denim – custom hand-painted clothing. A recent accomplishment of mine was painting a custom jacket for Carrie Underwood’s “Reflection Tour”.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
One of my main reasons for launching ELEKTRIK Haus Creative came from years of industry colleagues reaching out for referrals to trusted creatives. I am truly passionate about human connection and supporting others. I would not be here if it wasn’t for the help of A LOT of people who trusted and believed in me. I will always have my arms wide open to any creative coming to Nashville (or already lives in Nashville) who might need help getting a few doors open.
