Today we’d like to introduce you to Rebecca+Veronica Rebecca+Veronica.
Hi Rebecca+Veronica, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Food and Fash in Nash is run by us, 2 best friends, Veronica and Becca, and it all started from our shared love of finding the best places to eat, drink, shop, and explore around Nashville. What began as a fun hobby quickly turned into something we’re truly passionate about.
One of our favorite parts of this journey has been getting to meet and connect with so many incredible local business owners. I love being able to highlight their stories and showcase the people behind the places we love. Today, Food and Fash in Nash has grown into a go-to guide for both locals and visitors, where we share our favorite spots and experiences while supporting the small businesses that make Nashville so special.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. What started as something fun and creative quickly turned into something that required consistency, time, and learning how to navigate the business side of content creation. Balancing it with everyday life and other responsibilities has been one of the biggest challenges.
There’s also the pressure of constantly creating… coming up with fresh ideas, staying relevant, and keeping up with ever-changing social media algorithms. On top of that, building relationships with brands and businesses and learning to value our time and work properly has been a learning curve.
But every challenge has pushed us to grow, and it’s made the journey even more rewarding. Seeing the impact we can have on local businesses and the community makes it all worth it.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Through Food and Fash in Nash, we create content centered around discovering and showcasing the best of Nashville, from restaurants and bars to boutiques and local experiences. We specialize in creating engaging, visually driven content that not only highlights a space but captures the overall vibe and experience of being there.
We are known for connecting with our audience in a relatable way while helping small businesses gain exposure through authentic storytelling. One of the things we are most proud of is the relationships we have built with local business owners and the impact we have had in bringing attention to their brands. What sets us apart is our genuine love for what we do and the city we are in. We do not just post places, we experience them, share them in a way that feels personal, and create content that resonates with both locals and visitors looking for something special.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, the Nashville food blogging industry is likely to undergo several notable shifts as it adapts to evolving technology, consumer behavior, and the city’s growing food culture.
1. Hyperlocal and Niche Focus
Food bloggers will likely shift toward celebrating neighborhood-specific dining and hyperlocal trends, highlighting hidden gems, family-owned spots, and seasonal offerings. Rather than broad lists, audiences will want ultra-curated experiences, such as “best East Nashville brunch patios” or “late-night bites near Broadway.”
2. Increased Multimedia Storytelling
