Rising Stars: Meet Rieley Chambers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rieley Chambers.

Hi Rieley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
After struggling to find a college degree that had the right fit, I joined the School of Journalism at MTSU, a local college in Murfreesboro. The journalism program led to a passion for Public Relations, where I found my calling. I always loved public speaking, event planning, meeting new people, and – of course – posting on social media! So, public relations was the perfect fit. During my college career, I began working on my own Instagram profile to truly test my knowledge and I honestly just loved it. It gave me a platform to share Christianity along with my latest lifestyle trends. During my time in college, I worked with many companies doing in-house public relations and social media then finally found my home working for a firm. After graduating in May of 2020, I joined my friend’s amazing, new business in Nashville. She gave me the opportunity to help start a business, make clients, meet amazing people, and molded me into the social media marketer I am today. Shortly after leaving the firm, I created my own social media and branding firm where I help businesses create digital media platforms to develop their brands. Along the way, I’ve continued working on my own, personal social media channels and gained several great business relationships through there as well!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Mentally, it’s been tough but the journey has been fun. I’ve had the opportunity to meet outstanding people that still support me to this day. I think the hardest part was finding, ‘what I wanted to be when I grew up’. After falling in love with social media and finding my future in creating others digital media, the road became clearer, and no matter what hardships I went through, I was able to learn and meet people on the way.

Social media is not for everyone. As an influencer, I find it hard to hear some of the backlash people have said or commented. But you just have to keep doing what you love and hopefully, something good will come of it!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I began a business earlier this year doing social media and branding for clients. I’ve worked with several clients in the Nashville area and some national. I mainly work on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok for socials, along with creating business cards, logos, updating brand identities, event planning, website activation, flyers, and mostly anything with their brand on it. I am mostly known for becoming part of the business when working with a client. I love to dive into my client’s businesses so I can truly understand what all it is that they do. Although I am a third-party business, I want my clients to know how much I believe in them as well.

The biggest thing that sets me apart from others is a true passion for what I do. I think everyone deserves to share their businesses’ story. What I am most proud of is probably just how far I have come.

As an influencer, I am probably most known for my fitness and lifestyle posts. I only work with brands that I believe in and use, so my audience knows that when I offer a product it’s out of trust. This probably sets me apart from others. I specialize in health and lifestyle, but I am probably most known for my daily bible quotes on my stories. Those usually start great conversations with my audience where I am really able to get to know them!

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was always loud, fun, and usually the center of attention. I loved talking and playing around with friends. I usually went on long runs with my friends before school in the mornings then had track or soccer practice after school. I was definitely busy as a kid!

I’ve played soccer since I was three years old and loved every minute of it. I played all the way up into high school, then went on a trip with the Charlotte Eagles, a semi-pro team out of Charlotte, NC, on a mission trip to Brazil. My club team won 2nd in Nationals my senior year, and I was all ready to play in college until last minute I realized I wanted to have a real college experience — outside of soccer. So, I just lead the MTSU Women’s Club Soccer team.

I was always interested in music and health. On weekends, I usually just had soccer tournaments, sang in some local shows, and as always, went to church.

My family is very close. I grew up in Knoxville, TN until I left for MTSU. My parents moved to Raleigh, NC a few years after my college career began.
