Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon LeBlanc.
Hi Shannon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Oh, where to begin – If I am being honest, I never thought I would ever be a business owner, let alone a nationally published photographer. When I first graduated with my BBA from Belmont University, I was totally ok with being a spoke on a wheel helping someone else’s dream come alive. It wasn’t until 9+ years ago, with a gentle nudge from my very supportive hubby (who happens to also be a very successful entrepreneur), that I took the very scary leap into business ownership. Over the past nine years, my photography business evolved from a family photographer specializing in maternity, lifestyle newborn, and family photography into personal brand photography!
About three years ago, I decided to pivot my business to personal brand photography. I had fallen in love with working with women business owners and mompreneurs to create branded images that not only elevated their brand but helped them connect with their audiences. Since then, I have become a nationally published photographer for my work with local influencers, Jenny Reimold, and Homegoods. My work has been featured on national websites like People, Self, GMA, House Beautiful, and HGTV. I have also had my work featured in Parents Magazine.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Has it been smooth? Nope – I had a very hard time in the beginning because I had never actually opened a business before and I was a new mom. To say I was overwhelmed was an understatement but I quickly realized that having something that I could call my own was well worth the sleepless nights. I was able to create my own schedule, spend quality time with our daughter + son, and still have something that was just for me! This is what ultimately lead me to my rebrand in 2020. I wanted to be able to help other women like me level up their business but also create lasting memories with their families.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?

Everything was going well until 2020. The pandemic really put a lot of things into perspective for me and after taking about 9 months off to help my husband with his business, I reevaluated what I wanted out of life and rebranded my business to encompass my love and passion for brand photography and Disney. My brand is different from others because I am dedicated to helping the busy working mom or woman make room for work and play! Not only am I a nationally published brand photographer who will create brand images that will elevate your business but I am also a certified Disney vacation planner. I help my clients create magic in all areas of their lives – personal and professional!
