Rising Stars: Meet STK SIDD

Today we’d like to introduce you to STK SIDD.

Hi STK, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Fun Fact: I actually started out as an artist. I couldn’t really afford studio time or a cameraman so I learned to do everything on my own. From mixing & mastering to even recording my own music videos.

When I bought my first real camera I immediately fell in love. I’ve always had a love for filmmaking but this took it to a new level. Along with the video, I began testing out the still image feature and discovered a hidden talent. Since then, I’ve turned a simple hobby into a passion that actually pays the bills now.

I love being able to capture memories and tell people’s stories through my own lens.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course not, if it was easy it wouldn’t be worth it. Entrepreneurship in any form is difficult and there will be days when you want to give up.

There have been times when I have gone months without getting a single booking and like I said it pays the bills so those times get extremely stressful. Had I given up, I wouldn’t have met half the people that I have today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a top-notch photographer and videographer. While I can shoot just about anything, I like to focus on building brands. Whether you’re an artist or a company my work can take your business a long way.

I offer anything from crisp portraits to high-quality product shoots giving your business a whole new look. I am most proud of the amount of celebrities that I have worked with within my two years of doing this professionally. I have shot Kevin Gates, Dwight Howard, VedoTheSinger, and MANY others.

With more to come!

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My family and friends are my biggest supporters and I wouldn’t be anywhere without them. They help me to keep going and get rid of any insecurities I may have with my work.
