Story & Lesson Highlights with Adriana White of Lebanon & Franklin TN

Adriana White shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Adriana, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
Chasing/always seeking Jesus. If I stopped, my salvation and the salvation of others around me would be at risk.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m Adriana, co founder of Renewed & Restored Home. We are a family business located in Middle TN. A brand born from a love of storytelling through spaces and a deep appreciation for meaningful, character-filled design. At Renewed & Restored Home, we believe that decorating your home doesn’t have to be wasteful or expensive to be beautiful and personal. We specialize in restoring vintage wood furniture, curating timeless décor, and offering decorating services that prioritize intention, sustainability, and charm.

What makes our brand unique is the heart behind it. Every piece we refinish or style has a story, and we love helping others create homes that reflect their own. Whether we’re breathing new life into a worn-down cabinet or designing warm, layered interiors, our goal is always to make home feel more like you.

We’re continually growing by listening closely to our clients’ goals and tailoring our services to meet their needs through our craft and creativity. From custom furniture restoration to sustainable decorating solutions, we’re passionate about helping people create spaces they truly love to live in.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I was fortunate and deeply blessed to be born into a family that consistently spoke life into me. Long before I fully understood who I was or what I was capable of, they saw it, and they called it out in faith. Their words, prayers, and belief in my potential laid a foundation that has carried me through every season. I’m especially grateful to have been raised in an environment where faith wasn’t just something we believed in it was how we lived. That kind of support and spiritual grounding gave me the confidence to dream, create, and trust the process even when I couldn’t see the full picture myself.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
One fear that’s held me back at times is the fear of the unknown. Not having all the answers or knowing how things will unfold has, in the past, made me hesitate or second-guess myself. But that’s exactly where faith comes in. I’ve come to realize I’m not supposed to know every step I’m called to trust, to believe, and to move forward anyway. Releasing the need for control and leaning into God’s plan has been one of the most freeing lessons in my life and in my journey as a creative and entrepreneur.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that my faith and my family are what matter most to me. They’re the foundation of everything I do and the lens through which I make decisions, show up for others, and live my life. Whether it’s in my personal relationships or in my work, those two anchors always come first.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you laid down your name, role, and possessions—what would remain?
Even though my business centers around sustainable design and restoring beautiful, meaningful pieces, I’m fully aware that none of these possessions will follow us beyond this life. I love the creativity and opportunity that comes with curating spaces and surrounding ourselves with things that bring joy but I also see them as temporary gifts to be cherished, enjoyed, and stewarded well while we’re here. If I laid down my name, my role, and everything I’ve built, what would remain is His glory. That’s the only thing that truly lasts and it’s what I hope is reflected through everything I do.
