Gemma, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
I am most proud of building a space where artists and bands can feel they can come to me without the worry of paying for a feature and knowing that I will still showcase their art.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Gemma and I am the founder of Music Of The Future and have been since 2014…I run a blog that showcases bands and artists globally with features that I created with much more to come in the future.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
My family – I come from a hard working family in different sectors and they have always told me to be kind and treat others how you want to be treated.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Never…I don’t believe in giving up…I believe everyone goes through struggles but my motto is powering on through and finding ways around them.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That they have artists or bands back throughout the process…but that is not always the case where as music of the future does.

I think my clients would miss most the free opportunities that I offer and also the love and time I put in to MOTF for the clients.
