Story & Lesson Highlights with Jordan Taylor Moed

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Jordan Taylor Moed. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Jordan Taylor, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is a normal day like for you right now?
My normal day currently consists of balancing my life, career and my marriage all at once. Whether im in the studio, spending time with my wife, or out performing, seems to fill up the days fast. I do love it all though!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jordan Taylor Moed and I am the owner and operator of Crashline Studios Nashville. We are a music production house in the heart of Nashville, TN that provides a one stop shop for all audio projects.

We started this studio back in 2019 with the goal that we wanted provide top tier quality productions so clients knew we would be their first choice for any project.

Right now we specialize in Sync Licensing, Podcasts and Themes. But we welcome all genres and projects and see what we can make together.

You may have heard some of our productions on NFL Football, Food Network, NHL Hockey, Goldberg’s Garage and more!

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My marriage to my wife. She is my rock and better half in every way and she keeps me in check on how often and hard I work and always reminds me of what the important things in life are. She really has changed my view on life and hope to keep building on that with her over the years.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
That there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and the hardest grinds lead to the most beautiful views. Life is full of ups and downs and being in this industry is definitely not easy. They always say when you are winning remind yourself how far you have come and when you are down, make sure you remind yourself how high you once rose to and God will get you there again. He moved the mountains once, and he definitely will do it again.

There were many many times in my life where I wanted to give up. But what would that have accomplished? In the words of Judas Priest, “One life, I wanna live it up” and basically live by that motto.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I try to always be my authentic real self, whether that’s on stage, in the studio, or in real life. You get the full me every time and whether im too much for people or you love the vibes I give off, I’m un-apologetically me and hope people see that.

There can be times where I get hyper focused on something and people think that I can be standoff-ish, but I try to never be someone you can’t approach or talk to. I don’t care who you are, I’ll talk and hang out with anyone!

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That he inspired alot of people to go for their dreams, and he was just a great human being that did some great stuff in the world. I hope people see me for who I really am, and love me for that.
