Story & Lesson Highlights with Tyler Drouet

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tyler Drouet. Check out our conversation below.

Tyler, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Plenty of coffee, time in Bible study, and then getting ready for the day. I’m much more of an early bird than a night owl

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a parent coach with a background in school counseling—and a mom of three myself. I work with parents at all stages, from those expecting their first child to those navigating the launching young adults.

My approach is practical, thoughtful, and grounded in research and real-life experience. I know how overwhelming parenting can feel, and I’m here to offer support without judgment. Whether parents are dealing with big transitions, daily power struggles, or just feeling stuck, I help parents find clarity and confidence in their own voice and values.

My work is rooted in connection, grace, and the belief that every family is unique. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution, but there is a way forward that feels right for you—and I’d love to help you find it.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My husband has an exceptionally high work ethic and joy in his work. It’s provided great inspiration.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
The transition back into work after taking a season as a stay at home mom was difficult for me to navigate. I had a desire to return to work in some capacity, but knowing what exactly that would look like was challenging. Returning to a school counseling setting full time was not a good fit for our family, but I wasn’t sure what would be. The search for the elusive fit was discouraging at times. The opportunity to work directly work with parents presented itself after a season of searching and wondering and has a better fit than I ever could have imagined. I absolutely love the opportunity to walk alongside parents to encourage, equip, and support them.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Faith, family, friends (and time at my local fitness study, not only for the movement, but mainly for the community!)

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
Although parenting is for the here and now, a lot of it is also long game. I hope to see fruit in my children’s lives in the future.
