Who taught you the most about work?

Society has its myths about where we learn – internships, books, school, etc. However, in our conversations with some of the most interesting and trailblazing entrepreneurs and creatives we noticed the biggest lessons they learned about work often came from unexpected sources. My father taught me most about how I work and run my business. My father owned a car dealership in Columbia, TN. He worked 24/7. His customers became his friends and they counted on him for cars for themselves and their families. When B’yond Events & Catering was initially opened, I was supposed to be the event planner and the catering portion was supposed to be contracted out. However, that was not God’s plan.
