We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on. We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

Craftsmanship and attention to detail are foundational to my design philosophy, something I never compromise on. The fabric sourcing process alone can be lengthy; I’ve often spent far longer than expected ordering swatches, only to realize the quality doesn’t meet my standards and having to start over. When it comes to garment construction, I care just as much about the interior beauty as the exterior. Read More>>

I’m committed to helping bring techno music to Nashville. This is Music City, and while it’s known for country music, I believe music here should reflect a broader spectrum of genres. House music is already growing fast in the local scene, and I see techno following close behind. Read More>>

I have been on a journey to be the most healthy version of myself possible. This is from a physical, spiritual, mental, and financial standpoint! On November 28, 2023 I was 515 pounds and I knew something had to change if I wanted to have a better life for myself. It’s been almost 3 years since that date, and I’ve lost over 200 pounds. A wise friend once told me, “Do whatever it takes to get the job done right.” That’s a belief I’ve built my business on. Getting those in need basic essentials. That’s the backbone of my business and a huge part of what we do. There is no reason that a child should go to school in winter without a coat and proper boots/shoes. There’s no reason anyone, child or adult, should go to bed hungry. There is no reason every single person shouldn’t have a toothbrush, etc. Read More>>
