What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?

We’ve been working on our publication and platform for almost a decade because we deeply believe that the world will be a far more empathetic and collaborative place if we all had the ability to know each other’s stories. The past decade has brought unimaginable challenges along the way, but we persevere because we believe this is mission worth never giving up on. We often are inspired by the folks we’ve featured and their commitment to their respective missions and so we asked some of them to talk to us about this very topic and have share some responses below.

Craftsmanship and attention to detail are foundational to my design philosophy, something I never compromise on. The fabric sourcing process alone can be lengthy; I’ve often spent far longer than expected ordering swatches, only to realize the quality doesn’t meet my standards and having to start over. When it comes to garment construction, I care just as much about the interior beauty as the exterior. Read More>>

I’m committed to helping bring techno music to Nashville. This is Music City, and while it’s known for country music, I believe music here should reflect a broader spectrum of genres. House music is already growing fast in the local scene, and I see techno following close behind. Read More>>

I have been on a journey to be the most healthy version of myself possible. This is from a physical, spiritual, mental, and financial standpoint! On November 28, 2023 I was 515 pounds and I knew something had to change if I wanted to have a better life for myself. It’s been almost 3 years since that date, and I’ve lost over 200 pounds.  Read More>>

Me. I am the biggest project I will ever work on, and it’s a 24/7 constant work, LOL. I want to be able to look back in 2 weeks, in a month, in 6 months, and say “girl you remember when I used to like this, do this, say this, etc?” I don’t believe we as people ever stop growing, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. A wise friend once told me, “Do whatever it takes to get the job done right.” That’s a belief I’ve built my business on. Sometimes it means losing money on a project—but the priority is never shortcuts, it’s outcomes. We don’t exist without clients who walk away feeling their vision was fully realized. Read More>>

I’m committed to preserving memories and family legacies through my photography, no matter how long it takes. I believe every moment is a gift from God, and the stories we hold onto connect us across time and generations. It’s not just about taking pictures. Read More>>

One project I’m fully committed to—no matter how long it takes—is *Crafty Boba*, the name of our new brand. It’s a concept that blends creativity, community, and delicious drinks in a space that feels fun, welcoming, and inspiring. Crafty Boba isn’t just a rebrand—it’s a reflection of everything we’re passionate about. Read More>>

I believe everyone deserves happy taste buds. Exciting, nourishing food is part of the human experience, and everyone should have access to it. One project I’m committed to, no matter how long it takes, is building a community kitchen that feeds those in need and empowers them through food. Read More>>

Getting those in need basic essentials. That’s the backbone of my business and a huge part of what we do. There is no reason that a child should go to school in winter without a coat and proper boots/shoes. There’s no reason anyone, child or adult, should go to bed hungry. There is no reason every single person shouldn’t have a toothbrush, etc. Read More>>
